therealzome Posted January 18, 2024 Author Posted January 18, 2024 I PM you. Confirming router is ready for service, IPV6 disabled and remote access enabled.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 18, 2024 Administrators Posted January 18, 2024 Thanks, I've passed that on to Anas, will keep you posted
therealzome Posted January 19, 2024 Author Posted January 19, 2024 I feel like I’ve tried every combination of settings on/off, the router is still cutting off my hard wired Xbox from internet when downloading games and updates in sleep mode.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 19, 2024 Administrators Posted January 19, 2024 I'm just checking in with Anas to see if he has time to connect today
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 19, 2024 Administrators Posted January 19, 2024 He wasn't able to connect, just to double check: ISP modem/router in modem/bridge mode or R3 in its DMZ IPv6 enabled in LAN/WAN Disable IPv6 on the ISP router just in case that's affecting it Remote support enabled on R3 Has your public IP changed? Is it just ISP modem/router > R3 or is there any other devices such as a switch, extender etc between the two?

I live in a large apartment building and do not have access to the ISP modem, but I think ISP modem is in bridge by default. 2. Confirmed. 3. See Number 1 above. Don't have access to ISP modem. Only router I use is the R3. 4. Confirmed. 5. My public IP changed. Just DM'd you the new one. 6. Yes, just ISP modem -> R3. No switch or extender between.

Sorry I meant IPv6 in LAN/WAN should be disabled. If you don't have access to the modem it won't be in bridge mode as that could only be done to one device but it would explain why we can't connect. Let me know once you've disabled IPv6 and we'll try again.
therealzome Posted January 22, 2024 Author Posted January 22, 2024 Thanks. Confirming IPv6 is disabled.
therealzome Posted January 22, 2024 Author Posted January 22, 2024 Apologies, resetting my router changed my public IP again. Just DM'd you my new IP. Netduma Fraser 1
therealzome Posted January 28, 2024 Author Posted January 28, 2024 Still having this issue on 4.0.40. Xbox loses internet connection when a game is downloading to the console in sleep mode. Only fix is restarting the router.

therealzome Posted May 26, 2024 Author Posted May 26, 2024 Still having this issue even in the latest beta firmware.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted May 26, 2024 Administrators Posted May 26, 2024 Thanks for the report, I'll make sure the team are aware it's still an issue
therealzome Posted May 27, 2024 Author Posted May 27, 2024 thanks. i’m not sure why it’s an issue only with the r3 on my xbox. if i put my ps5 in sleep mode with a download in progress, it won’t lose internet connection. i’ve tried switching lan ports too, that’s not the issue.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted May 27, 2024 Administrators Posted May 27, 2024 That's good to know thanks, I'm sure we'll get to the bottom of it!
