Compatible w/ VoiP & no Bridge Mode?

Hello, your product has convinced me so far. Before making a purchase, I want to ensure it works for me, so I have 1-2 questions.

I currently have a "Fritzbox 5590 Fiber" (without Bridge Mode; the Fritzbox cannot be used as a simple modem or in Bridge Mode). Additionally, I have a VOIP phone connected to this router along with my LAN cable. Will NetDuma R3 work with my router, and will the VOIP phone still function afterwards? Thanks for your time.

Hello, welcome to the forum!

Does the Fritzbox have a DMZ option? If so you can use that with the R3 to ensure an Open NAT.

I don't think we have specifically tested VoIP phones but in theory there shouldn't be an issue

The website states the following: "1. The FRITZ!Box does not support DMZ. The term 'DMZ' is often confused with the 'exposed host' function, which opens all ports for a device in the network. If you want to set up an 'exposed host' in the FRITZ!Box home network instead of a 'DMZ,' you can follow the steps provided.. bla..bla.. Can this approach also work?"

Okay yes the exposed host option will work

Cool so I simply deactivate the WiFi on the 'old' router then so that only the R3 WiFi is active or how that works? And the VoIP phone i can leave connected to the Fritzbox right?

Correct, you could try connecting the phone to the R3 as well

Alright, then I'll take a look at the R3. Thank you very much for the quick responses and your time. Could you possibly provide me with a link to a setup guide (I can't find it)? That way, I can start reading up on it.
