aluven
heya guys, first of all, sorry if a bother you with something that maybe as been already asked before. im about to get a r2, but im looking to make it a 2th router as i have a 2,5gbs internet and as ive seen the r2 dont support 2,5gb in the wan port. so, i will get problem for geo filtering and such as a non primary router? any advice to get it work 100% with no issue? ty in advance
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 20, 2023 Administrators Share Posted November 20, 2023 Not a bother at all! Geo-Filtering should work just fine with that setup, QoS may not work as well if not all devices are connected to it but with your speeds that's less of a problem. Put the R2 WAN IP (found on the System Information page) into the DMZ on the router the R2 is connected to and you'll be good to go. aluven
