XR1000 Buffer-bloat help

Recommended Posts

Australian internet 100down 40up, I'm struggling to lower download latency below +30ms to achieve a A+ buffer-bloat score. Upload latency is +3ms at 99% (of 40Mbps). I have tried values all through 100-40% with the best working at 98% (+19ms download). Are there any further tips and tweaks I can make or requests to the ISP I can make? I am not knowledgeable enough in this field to self-direct.

Thanks.

If you're using a third party test then Traffic Prioritization can skew the results so best to disable that. However, I wouldn't worry too much about the value, bufferbloat only occurs when the network is saturated and when Congestion Control is used that can't happen.
