benilsondias
I'm Brazilian, I paid a lot for R2, and I never got a configuration that makes netduma perform well in Bufferbloat statistics and in the game, what suits me well today is OpenWRT 18.06 I would like guidance on installing openwrt on Netduma R2, as I don't want to leave it unused in my home. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 2, 2023 Administrators Share Posted November 2, 2023 It doesn't appear you've persisted in troubleshooting with us, I would recommend doing that, could you provide a screenshot of a completed Connection Benchmark test as well as your QoS page please? We cannot offer support for installing a different operating system.
benilsondias
I've had R2 for over a year and 3 months ago I gave up and I'm having a better gameplay feeling, I just need to know which version is openwrt to download, since dumaOS is based on it. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 9, 2023 Administrators Share Posted November 9, 2023 Okay that's fine but we can't help you install a different operating system and just because it's based on it doesn't mean normal OpenWRT would install successfully. benilsondias
Hi Fraser, as I said at the beginning of the post, I'm Brazilian, I've had a netduma for about 2/3 years and I've never been able to get a good feeling for gameplay with it, I always get a buggy hitreg and end up losing interest in using it, I apply the updates and still I have to unload a weapon at the opponent. I used it with QOS activated, trying to throttle the available bandwidth at different levels, both download and upload. What is now a little better is openwrt with qosify prioritizing call of duty ports in DSCP for EF. my latency is between 25ms / 35ms. Is there any way to arrange it for my needs? Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 23, 2023 Administrators Share Posted November 23, 2023 We can't provide any support for router software that isn't our own unfortunately but from what I know it's a tight community so I'm sure there will be lots of information out there for what you can do
