bewater169 Posted November 1, 2023 Share Posted November 1, 2023 hello i own a netgear nighthawk xr1000 v2, i have the latest firmware update and ive been trying to get rid of double nat issue with this router and my isp fiber router (optimum altice) whenever i tracert 1.1.1.1, 1st two ip i see is 10.0.0.1 then 192.168.1.1. i have bridge mode enabled with my isp, i have tried using nat to open from secured ( still have this issue) , is there any other way to get rid of this instead of using ap mode? Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 2, 2023 Administrators Share Posted November 2, 2023 Hello, that's not a double NAT, it's going through the XR, then through the modem, as long as you have the bridge mode enabled you're all good, you'll have an Open NAT.
