Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 9, 2023 Administrators Share Posted June 9, 2023 Reboot the router from the interface, then try to access quickly and update as soon as possible, see if that allows it to go through

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 9, 2023 Administrators Share Posted June 9, 2023 Unplug it, wait for 10 minutes, plug in, wait 2 minutes then access and try to upgrade. It's resetting after the unplug as you've not rebooted from the interface recently which acts as a hard save.

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 9, 2023 Administrators Share Posted June 9, 2023 That's just to do with authentication, it won't be related to your ability to update. What firmware version are you on currently?

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 9, 2023 Administrators Share Posted June 9, 2023 I think we might have to do a remote upgrade for you on Monday, enable remote support in WAN Settings and make sure you have the R2 WAN IP (found on the System Information page) in the DMZ of your modem then post back here from a device connected to the R2. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 10, 2023 Administrators Share Posted June 10, 2023 You don't need to tell me your WAN IP, as long as you've put that in your modem DMZ we'll be able to access. We can get your public IP from your forum post. We'll try upgrading you on Monday.

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 12, 2023 Administrators Share Posted June 12, 2023 Okay so that's a pure modem so you can forget the DMZ aspect. Have you made any port forwarding rules on the R2 or the DMZ and did you enable the remote support?
