Shotgunrider77
Hi, I would like to receive some tips about how to optimize my QoS configuration considering the following: I have 600MB symetric FTTH connection and the following devices wired to the router (I will placed the in order or priority): 1) XBOX SERIES X 2) PLAYSTATION 4 3) WIFI MESH TENDA 4) SMART TV 5) TV BOX Most of the other devices at home connect directly to the wifi mesh (2 pcs, SMART TV, TV BOX, VACUUM CLEANER, SMART PHONES...). How should I configure the QoS considering I want to prioritize the bandwidth for the XBOX but leaving enough bandwidth for the PS4 and WIFI MESH and not needing to change parameters every time? Thanks in advance, Shotgunrider77
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted May 18, 2023 Administrators Share Posted May 18, 2023 I would recommend having a look through our optimal settings guides: https://support.netduma.com/en/support/solutions/folders/16000090646 Gaming doesn't use much bandwidth so by prioritizing the Xbox everything else will still have plenty. Primarily you'll want to use Congestion Control and Traffic Prioritization to ensure your connection works the best.
