I have a few questions

So I have an R1 and I’ve not been able to use it since purchase 3 years go.

I have full fibre broadband from BT here in the UK. I’ve run it through the bt hub and got the speeds but the other features don’t work.

on the other hand if I remove the bt hub and connect ppoe I connect but my speeds go from half a gig to 25mpbs. But then I get the features of duma OS.

now I’ve tried all the optimisations the forums suggest i.e disable Qos and ipv6 but to no avail.

will the R2 allow me to eliminate the bt hub completely?

Hello, I have a question. Can I add several profiles from different games to the geo filter for the same PC? or in dumaos 3.3 it automatically detects the game and it is not necessary to choose which game I want to play? is that imagine that on a pc I play several games and not have to be removing and putting filters for each game. @Netduma Fraser

Best thing to do in that scenario is to go to the Device Manager and give your PC the PlayStation device type. Then go back to the Geo-Filter and add the PC with the Manual option, that will add it as a console and allow you to filter multiple games without changing the service.

This way, dumaos will always detect the game type automatically and manage the geofilter correctly for each game type without selecting one by one, right?  and it will ping fine for every type of game, right?

Yes it will, as long as we have support for the game but yes most games will work, even those we haven't specifically tested

Sí, siempre y cuando tengamos soporte para el juego, pero sí, la mayoría de los juegos funcionarán, incluso aquellos que no hayamos probado específicamente.

fine, thanks.  One question, sometimes the allowed servers go out of my range with ping assist at 0 and it won't let me get blocked.  Does that mean that the netduma team has whitelisted it?

Yes it does, when a server has a white circle around it it's either been added to the allow list by you or whitelisted by us - that one is definitely whitelisted, it's an authentication server required for online play. The biggest icon will always be your game server.

I do not have it added but if I notice that dumaos in xdefiant has not optimized the ping since I am always the one with the most ping and in call of duty the opposite happens I am the one with the least ping with dumaos always, why?

The Geo-Filter just connects you to the server of your choice, if the ping is too high then you may need to fine tune QoS but as it is a beta I suspect there are some connection issues

I think I have been looking and there are no servers here in Spain, although it is also in beta version, we will have to wait

There are servers there they just don't always appear to be join-able so it can be hard to force it specifically

Ok, if I have a server within my xdefiant range, why can't Dumaos force connect to those servers within my range? I think it always connects me outside of my filter, with ping assist 0 and strict

I also found a problem with dumaos when I play battlefield 2042 with and without a filter, it looks for me to play only outside Europe to the United States with more than 100 pings and takes me out of the lobby, it's as if EA detected this router and won't let me play. It doesn't matter if I apply a filter or not, you should check and because when I play without the netduma router it looks for me in Europe with a ping of 30 to 41 ping. @Netduma Fraser

You should be able to, can you provide a screenshot of what you see when this happens?

I doubt they'll be doing any sort of detection but Try this:

  1. Quit the application/game/client completely
  2. Remove device from the Geo-Filter
  3. Give PC PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager (if on PC)
  4. Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu
  5. Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter with the manual option
  6. Set up the Geo-Filter how you like
  7. Wait 2 minutes
  8. Boot up application/game/client

Then see if it works better.

It is what I did and I put it like this but something strange happens with that game it is only to put the netduma and without filter and with filter in both ways the searches are strange it tries to put me in the lobby only from the United States when. Now I'll try again later
