Timzyy Posted March 10, 2023 Posted March 10, 2023 Hi, my Netduma R2 has recently started to stop working, the internet goes down and when I try access Duma OS (192.168.77.1) via computer on ethernet nothing loads up. The only way i found to resolve the issue was to unplug the router and plug it back on. So far it happened around 12:30 am on Sunday and 5 days later today Friday 9pm.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 10, 2023 Administrators Posted March 10, 2023 Welcome to the forum! Sorry to hear you're having this issue, what firmware version are you on currently? In LAN Settings > DHCP set the lease hours to 168 then apply, reboot from the interface and see if it goes longer without the issue happening.
Timzyy Posted March 11, 2023 Author Posted March 11, 2023 My firmware is version: 3.2.453 I've done what you said, hopefully it resolves the problem, ill let you know if it occurs again. Netduma Fraser 1
Timzyy Posted April 15, 2023 Author Posted April 15, 2023 Hi, same issue has occurred again just now, and it might have also done so about 2 weeks ago
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 15, 2023 Administrators Posted April 15, 2023 It might happen once a week, would you say that's accurate? If so it's definitely the DHCP lease renewal causing it. In LAN Settings, set the DHCP range to start at .50, then assign reserved IP addresses to devices between .2 & .49 so they're out of the DHCP range, apply, reboot from the interface, wait 2 minutes and see if that stops the disconnects.
