Wifi devices get disconnected all at the same time

Hello,

I have an issue where my devices get disconnected at the same time, I get the info message IEEE 802.11: deauthenticated due to inactivity (timer DEAUTH/REMOVE) but then all of them get disconnected and the MACs don't match with that message.

All devices disconnect and the Wifi SID disappears. Then the router has restarted by itself... Channel is set to automatic and width as well

Thanks in advance.

What are the devices that are being disconnected exactly - iPhones, Windows PCs, Android phones etc?

All of them. the AP sets from Enabled to Disabled by itself.

Try these suggestions and see if it helps

  1. Disable Mirror Mode, give 2.4/5GHz different names and apply - you'll want to connect to 5GHz specifically for speeds and 2.4GHz for older devices/for range
  2. Use a WiFi analyzer to find the least congested channel and change to that
  3. Experiment with the widths to see what gives better results
  4. Ensure it's in an elevated position - not on a metal surface
  5. Ensure there aren't any electrical / wireless devices e.g headphones etc within close proximity ~3 feet if possible
  6. Set the antennae to this position _ | | _
