ByMgRs Posted January 14, 2015 Share Posted January 14, 2015 I am talking completely hypothetically I am simply just interested would you be able to in the future say when a newer version comes out would I be able to repurpose the r1 with pfsense or a differant version of Dd wrt or even Mikro tik router software (Would it be able to be flashed back?) Please don't say if you are not allowed to say i'm allowed to say (i don't represent netduma) You can't flash back because they use a special flashing method. Otherwise, someone could buy the hardware from Mikrotik, come here and download the firmware and have a netduma.
