David marin Posted January 28, 2023 Posted January 28, 2023 Hi I received replacement of my Netduma R2 and everything is working but my speed internet connection change a lot when I connect Netduma R2 see attachments
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 28, 2023 Administrators Posted January 28, 2023 Have a run through this guide and see if it's able to help you get higher speeds: https://support.netduma.com/en/support/solutions/articles/16000076586-dumaos-optimal-settings-guide-maximum-bandwidth-speeds
David marin Posted January 28, 2023 Author Posted January 28, 2023 With QoS disabled internet speed is normal, if I turn on again my speed go down again

David marin Posted January 28, 2023 Author Posted January 28, 2023 Yes, I connected everything to the R2
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 28, 2023 Administrators Posted January 28, 2023 Okay great, make sure the ISP router is in modem mode or has the R2 in its DMZ and you'll get the best speeds through the R2 that is possible. You can also disable the protection options in WAN Settings and that will boost the speed slightly as well.
David marin Posted January 28, 2023 Author Posted January 28, 2023 Okay I will try tomorrow the isp modem is in a modem mode but I will try DMZ because I will like have QoS enable

It is unlikely you will get max speeds with QoS also enabled.
David marin Posted January 28, 2023 Author Posted January 28, 2023 Then it’s better have the QoS disabled?

If you want to have full speeds then yes, given your speeds as well it will be harder for bufferbloat to affect you so as long as you don't have any downloads happening while gaming you should be okay!
