after using netduma for a week, just i saw my internet speed dropped to half and ping higher. i had speedtest (www.speedtest.net )ping 6 with download speed 170 mb and upload 20 mb. and yesterday my internet connection speed decreased to 56ms download 100 and upload 10 !!!i called my isp and they asked me to hard reset my router i did and nothing changed. they said they are working on my line and after two hours fixed.then i add netduma and put net duma into dmz of my isp router in order to haveopen nat in cod....again and everything was fine until today, my internet dropped again to the same higher ping and lower speed.

any idea what wrong with my settings? Thanks

got that speed using auto detect... which is much lower than mine. i have hard reset my isp router and also netduma r2. setup everything again and still have issue.... even without using netduma now i dont get the speed i used to have before connecting netduma.

We're still improving auto detect, it uses different servers so if it reports lower than what you expect then set it manually. If you're not receiving speeds without the router you'll have to resolve that first, connecting the R2 won't have caused that to happen on the modem

im back, yesterday they fixed the issue for the secound time from my isp and again i have the same issue. internet is half speed and ping three times more at least.

there is something in netduma i change and doing it. is it maybe for in my isp router ? because i have put netduma ip in dmz?

Thanks for your reply, here are all my settings including DMZ and my good and bad ping. mostly my concern is about the higher ping i get, the speed is a bit lower about 10-20% but ping is getting to 120 ms from 41-42 ms !!!!

I'm sure something getting blocked from my line.

some incorrect input settings. as you can see in the screenshot from speedtest.net my ping is 7 sometimes 5 even but next day i get permanently 60-80 ms into speedtest.net.

im used to have this ips modem for two years and never had my ping getting higher than 8ms to speedtest and to ping 4.2.2.1 ever more than 42ms which i'm getting 120-140 ms now.

when they fixed the line from ISP and I'm not connecting netduma i never face any problem even for three days i have tested this and everything was fine when i connect netduma next day everything change to the worse ping ever had. for DMZ i put my WAN IP which is in my netduma network section.

any idea? pls let me know if any of these settings causing the issue or may cause. Thanks

Speedtest.net is using a different server to your first good ping so if you switch it to use the normal server what ping do you then get?

Can you show the traceroute for the good ping as well please so we can compare - although we don't control the routing your ISP uses and ping is good from the R2 to the modem

I just was on the line with my ISP and they said there is no issue from our side we just reset everything for you and you are fine. they fixed it and i am going to reset factory netduma and use it with no change in dmz or port forwarding. just as it is for better servers just use geo-filter and see what will be happen tomorrow.
