No idea what would cause this issue but after troubleshooting for a day this firmware seems to be the cause of not being able to connect to COD server at all. I updated the router and shortly after was not able to connect to COD. Kept getting server disconnected message. Tried uninstalling / reinstalling the blizzard app along with COD. Power cycled the router. Turned geo filters off. Reset router to factory. Checked my windows firewall. Nothing worked. Able to connect to servers when directly plugged into modem. I rolled the firmware back to 3.0.394 and was able to connect.

I suspect this may have actually been caused by the cloud being out of date. We had some issues with it over the weekend and resolved them, but your router may not have successfully re-synced with it in that time. When you rolled back the firmware and reset, it will have resync'd then and thus resolved the issue.

If you decide to re-upgrade in future, you should find that the problem is fixed.
