ResistCC
I am experiencing consistent ping in the 90s to 100s on games like league of legends. I am located in California so the ping has never been great but on the spectrum router I would see 60s consistent. I am new to networking, so I’m sure this has more to do with user error than the router itself. I am just wondering if, when I get off work, if I upload pictures someone can walk me through what I am doing wrong? speed even next to the router using cat7 cables to connect my laptop via Ethernet and WiFi 5ghz channel sees me getting between 300-400mbps on 1 gig spectrum speed. The technician said that the modem is seeing 800-900. I would prefer to be closer to that as I download a lot of games on 4th gen NVMe SSDs and would like to maximize my downtime. thanks, cc. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 2, 2022 Administrators Share Posted June 2, 2022 Welcome to the forum! Where are you testing the ping, in game or the Geo-Filter? I would first make sure you go through our optimal settings guides to get setup correctly: http://support.netduma.com/en/support/solutions/folders/16000090646 and we can then help if needed. We're also based in the UK by the way. The guides should help you get your speeds up as well.
