Welcome to the forum!

Do any other devices see the WiFi? Are you able to connect via ethernet to access the interface to then disable then re-enable the WiFi?

I bought netduma r2 from someone .. so I am second owner . Do I need to do a factory reset on the router ?? And it looks like it working I have it set up and ran Ethernet cable to my console ps4 so Thts how I can tell it’s working .. only problem I can’t get in the router settings because wifi is not showing up . On my lap top neither mobile devices .

As it is second hand I would recommend holding the reset button for 30 seconds, then wait 2 minutes and see if WiFi appears so you can try to access the interface

Do you also recommend resetting my modem??

That won't be necessary, they should work together just fine once you get the R2 up and running

I think if you can get a device that can connect to it via ethernet (not a console) then you can see if you can access the interface and then we should be able to solve those issues for you. Given it is a second hand device we couldn't organize a replacement for you if we did think it was faulty.

Ok so I got to get an Ethernet cable connected to my laptop straight to the r2  router .. ok so internet is good .. I type in r2 IP address on search bar and nothing is coming up ..

Set a static IP on the PC with the following details

IP address: 192.168.77.100

Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0

Default gateway: 192.168.77.1

If you're not sure how to do this, you can check this guide: https://kb.netgear.com/27476/How-do-I-set-a-static-IP-address-in-Windows then try accessing 192.168.77.1 please and see if it works.
