Rockneee
Wanted to ask so I don't waste too much time (more than hours already spent). I have my second router (XR700) hooked up to Xbox series X on LAN only, WIFI off. No internet hooked up on WAN port (of second router). Everything else works fine: Xbox games and geofilter. Only thing I cant get to work is Ping Heatmap, was not sure if it can work the way I have it set up. Or I could be missing like one little check mark somewhere. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 26, 2022 Administrators Share Posted April 26, 2022 Hey, welcome to the forum! If I understand you correctly, the XR700 internet port has to be connected to one of the LAN ports on the first router in order to get internet properly and distribute it among devices, do that and Ping Heatmap should work. Rockneee
Wow, very fast reply. Yep, I have it connected to LAN port on first router to XR700, then XR700 to xbox (only LAN slot used on XR700 besides the Primary Router coming in on one of the LAN slots). But no ping heatmap, get this code, "Cloud data has not been downloaded. Make sure you have an internet connection and click FORCE UPDATE.:
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 26, 2022 Administrators Share Posted April 26, 2022 That's what I mean, the internet/WAN port on the XR700 should be connected to the primary router, not a LAN port on the XR700 then it should work
