Hi All, Sorry mine is not R2 but I thought someone from here could help me as mine is a basic one.

My I tried to upgrade my DGN3500 router but it failed and I think I bricked it. When I switch the router on, steady solid orange (amber) LED light comes on and stays like that forever, but the connected ethernet port 1 remains in green colour. I tired to reset it by pressing the reset button then LED flashes RED/GREEN forever.

I tried to install the original firmware following the instruction given in the below link:
https://kb.netgear.com/000059633/How-do-I-upload-firmware-to-my-NETGEAR-router-using-a-TFTP-client-on-Microsoft-Windows

I'm stuck at the instruction No10 (Wait for the Power LED to light orange and start flashing...) The issue I have is router would not flash at all - it stays in steady orange. Could I still recover it?

Any advice is much appreciated

Cheers

Zak

Welcome to the forum!

Based on the model of the router, you'd probably be better of asking the question over in this forum:

This is the best place to post your question and get the right help :)
