ItsCamBro
Dont know how to explain this but the connection benchmark is only getting around 345 down and 40 upload. but when using speedtest by Ookla my speeds are at 860 down and 42 up. What do i need to do? I almost forgot. i also disable qos to se if it was the problem but it wasnt.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 20, 2022 Administrators Share Posted March 20, 2022 No need to do anything, we're still improving the results Benchmark provides but rest assured you'll be getting the speeds that Ookla is reporting! ItsCamBro
so if my speeds say 850 down and 42 up. i should put them in the download and upload or should i put 1000 down and 1000 upload. my speeds are gig from spectrum. but not sure the upload speed that my provider has? or just put the speeds that speed test by Ookla said? Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 20, 2022 Administrators Share Posted March 20, 2022 If you're not using QoS then it doesn't really matter but if you are using QoS I would suggest putting in the speeds you're actually able to receive, that way QoS can work as efficiently as possible. ItsCamBro
if its just me, then i really dont need qos then. its only me on router?

That depends, if you're streaming, downloading or doing anything bandwidth intensive while gaming then I would suggest using QoS but if you're only ever doing one thing at a time then it wouldn't be as needed
