Connection Failed and No Server Visibility

Hi,

Yesterday everything was working fine. Today I changed my polygon a little and I am getting unable to access online services error when I try to launch Warzone. Like suggested from my twitter request, I disabled filtering mode. I was able to see all the servers when I try to launch warzone but now I don't see any servers. I see nothing on the geo filter map. The only thing I can see is a player icon in united states. I am located in Turkey and on a PS5.

Yesterday, I was able to see all the servers in Europe and mostly connected to Germany and Italy and played the game just fine. The only think I changed today was including Netherlands to my polygon. Could you please support me?

Thank you.

As you're no longer able to see any polygons at all, it might be good to have a little reset of Geo-filter. Please follow the below steps:

  1. Remove your device from Geo-filter
  2. Re-sync Cloud from three-line menu in Geo-filter map
  3. Reboot the R2
  4. Wait a couple minutes, then go back to Geo-filter and re-add your device,

Let us know if you're able to see servers again after this.

Hi Liam,

Yes, i did above steps and able to see the servers again.
my filter mode is still disabled. Should keep it disabled and mark all the servers during the games as allowed or denied? By doing so, I will have a huge list of denied servers in a week and I will not connect to bad ping servers like France for my case in the future. Is this a correct way?

or, should I activate filter mode now?

thanks!

Now try with filtering mode enabled, that should work better for you!

If it seems to be working you will need to clear your allow and deny list.

I tried to enable filtering mode. For 2 times in a row it kicked me out of the lobby and here is what i saw. 3rd attempt was successful and I was able to get in to the lobby.

PS: Servers in France are giving me bad pings. This is why I excluded that region.

The time that you were able to get in to a match, did you see any other icons on the map?

When you're struggling to get into a game, can you zoom all the way out on the map and see if there's any other blocked icons on the map? It may be that there's an authentication server somewhere else that's getting blocked, I remember I used to see one over in California a lot.

I tried again with filtering mode on, again it doesn't connect me to online services. As you can see from the screenshot, I see one server around the world. I got unable to access online services error. One server that I see is seems like California like you said. This is what I get when filtering mode is enabled. Should I include that server in a second polygon?

Second screen shot is filtering mode disabled. It connected me to online services. I don't think filtering mode enabling is an option for me anymore.  image.thumb.png.88a82cc021244b01c2820a77126151ad.png

The server in California is already whitelisted, so you don't need to add it to your Polygon.

Were you rebooting the game when you made changes to Geo-filter? This is often required as the game client will remember which servers it wasn't able to reach when it initially booted. This could cause issues if you're making adjustments to Geo-filter on the fly.
