I've purchased an R2, I have the latest frimware .394

I can see all the devices connected via the network map but yet having issues connecting devices and them working

  • My laptop works via wifi also same device I view DumaOS.
  • Smart Tv's work
  • second laptop - no connection. (says its connected)
  • Iphones x2 - no connection
  • Kids tablets - Now working

Please help before the wife has made her point yet again 😁

Regards,

J

Hey,

Is the second laptop connecting to the R2 via wireless too?

As it says it's connected, are you able to get to the DumaOS interface from it by going to 192.168.77.1 in a web browser?

Are the iPhones seeing the Wi-Fi network and connecting to it? If you tap the (i) icon next to the network and disable 'Private addresses', are they then able to get a connection?

Will try this today.

Iphones, I tried turning off Private Wifi Address and turning off Limit IP Address Tracking with no luck.

Any further suggestions would be welcome :)

Sure, just as a really quick test to rule something out, please go to QoS -> Congestion Control -> Click the three-line menu in the top left and disable QoS fully.

After that, check if the iPhones are still having trouble.
