Xr1000 dumaOS is slower than a snail

Hey, I am the owner of an xr1000. I previously used an xr500 that worked awesome. Didn’t have a single problem with it. Unfortunately me and my dog were playing catch and she knocked over my 500 and smashed it to pieces lol. Anyway, I bought the 1000 not too long after and it’s been nothing but a headache. Trying to use the dumaOS interface is infuriating. First of all it’s super slow just getting it to load, I probably have to wait 5 minutes to even get into dumaOS, then once I’m there and I try to change any setting anywhere, it gives me the applying settings loading sign, and then fails to change the setting and I have to refresh and try again, it fails again, I refresh, and finally get one setting changed. The router says I have the latest firmware. Anybody have any ideas why it takes 45 minutes to plug in a few settings and it fails to change them the first 5 times? I’m about to take this router into my backyard and use it as target practice.

Hey, welcome to the forum!

Sorry to hear you're having this issue. Are you forcing the connection to the interface through HTTPS? What device/web browser are you using to access? Do you have Armor enabled?

Hey thanks for the reply. I access the interface through google chrome. Routerlogin.net. Ive tried multiple devices, desktop and laptop. I’ve tried Ethernet and WiFi. I’ve never touched the armor settings so they are whatever the default is. Honestly if I am remembering correctly, all of my problems started when I downloaded dumaOS 3.0.

Maybe I am remembering wrong and downloaded 3.0 on my xr500. Anyway, I cleared cache and it is still as slow as ever. Went to Qos to change a few settings and am still get this message. The operation is taking longer than expected. Please briefly wait before using this Rapp.

Could be Armor possibly, you can click the shield icon top right of the interface but I believe you can change the settings on the Nighthawk app, double check whether it is enabled, if it is then disable and reboot the router and see if its better after that
