XR500 Keeps disconnecting

Randomly throughout the day my XR500 router randomly disconnects itself stopping me from accessing internet/wifi. The strange part is none of the LED's on the router change colour. It can be quickly fixed by restarting the router by turning it on and off again. 

 

I have contacted my ISP and made sure there are no problems their end. I have also factory reset the router in previous weeks. I have phoned up netgear support and they want to charge me to diagnose this fault hence why I am posting here. I am also using the most recent firmware version  V2.3.2.130

 

If anybody has any suggestion they would be very welcome! Thanks in advance Smiley Happy

Hey, welcome to the forum!

I've moved your post to the appropriate section. Can you access the interface when you get a disconnect? If so when it happens access, go to the System Information page and then copy the log file and post it here please.

Had this problem consistently with my XR500 and narrowed it down to the power cord being faulty. Went on Amazon and bought a 12v 5amp power brick with a 5.5mm x 2.1mm barrel connector. Haven't had a single problem with it since.
