Hunts
Keep having issues connecting to VPN's At first after a reboot it will work for a little while... then out of nowhere it will just say failed or ( No VPN Configured ) I've setup everything correctly... using HMA and OpenVPN for ExpressVPN tried both Company's and it still will disconnect me or tell me it failed connecting. PLEASE HELP!
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted December 4, 2021 Administrators Share Posted December 4, 2021 You'll need to use the Advanced setup for the VPN so get the configuration files for HMA for example and enter those in and it should connect
Hunts
I have used both advanced setup / normal setup with both Express Config files and HMA, still no luck
Hunts
There's definitely an issue with HybridVPN because before this previous firmware update I was always connecting to my servers with no issue
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted December 5, 2021 Administrators Share Posted December 5, 2021 Using the same config files it was working? Did you factory reset after upgrading? Can you provide one of the files you're using please?

Hunts
I've returned to the XR700, its just a better router all round for reliability
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted December 5, 2021 Administrators Share Posted December 5, 2021 Ahh it might be because you'll need to enter a DNS to use for the VPN by clicking the icon on the feature, try that and see if it works
Hunts
What would the DNS be though?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted December 5, 2021 Administrators Share Posted December 5, 2021 You can enter the IP address used for the VPN server, alternatively the VPN provider should have it listed on their website
