Duma not recognizing Rainbow six siege XR1000

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I cannot get Rainbow six siege to work with the QOS feature at all. It does not recognize rainbow six siege and  I have tried the troubleshooting of adding the desktop as game console and then re-adding it. Can someone please assist me with it.

Is there a way to make duma recognize the game manually through the advanced tab? How can i use the advanced tab while adding the device. The port of are Rainbow Six: Siege
UDP 10000-10099, 3074, 6015
TCP 80, 443. I saw the advanced tab had destination and source but i have no understanding of what it means. Please guide me.

How do i enter this in the advanced settings of adding the device? Can someone please help me on how to make Duma recognize siege. I have tried the troubleshooting of deleting the desktop and then going to device manager and changing the desktop as a game console and then readding it in QOS.

Adding it as a Games Console is the easiest way to do it and that will work. If you want to do the Advanced way keep the source ports the same and then make 3 rules:

Source 1 - 65535
Destination 10000 - 10099
Protocol UDP

Source 1 - 65535
Destination 3074 - 3074
Protocol UDP

Source 1 - 65535
Destination 6015 - 6015
Protocol UDP

Hi Fraser,

thank you for your quick reply. I added these rules from advanced tab and it is not working at all. Can  you please guide me through the troubleshooting one more time.

I removed my PC from the device manager and then readded it as a gaming console (xbox) and then added it again in QOS settings. Is this is the correct way?

Did you add it to Traffic Prioritization and select the Games Console service? So it looks like this for example:

image.thumb.png.018e215928b8d10c6c122cd7

and do the port rules match the above?

Also, I just double checked online and I'm not sure where you got the ports from but the ones required are these:

TCP: 13000, 13005, 13200, 14000, 14001, 14008, 14020, 14021, 14022, 14023, 14024
UDP: 6015

found on the Ubisoft site: https://www.ubisoft.com/en-gb/help/rainbow-six-siege/connectivity-and-performance/article/troubleshooting-connectivity-issues-in-rainbow-six-siege-pc/000078839

So if you've done what I did in the screenshot, instead do the rules for the ports listed above. You can group them together so you can do:

  • 13000 - 13005 TCP
  • 13200 - 13200 TCP
  • 14000 - 14024 TCP
  • 6015 - 6015 UDP
