KARLmitLAMA Posted October 30, 2021 Share Posted October 30, 2021 Hi there, I´m still running a Netduma R1 but the Hyprid VPN speeds are driving me crazy. I´m using NordVPN with servers that run at 300/50 on my local machine but 5/1 behind the R1. I know that it´s a hardware limitation of the R1... Now i´m looking at the Netduma R2 and the Netgear XR models. The XR1000 doesn´t have the Hybrid VPN feature as it was removed by Netduma per request of Netgear. 1. Was the Hybrid VPN feature removed from every Netgear XR model? 2. If no, what models still have the Hybrid VPN feature available? 3. The speeds on the XR500 and R2 for the VPN are about 20Mbps. The beauty of HybridVPN is that you can just apply it to a specific application/service and should be enough for any task.
