Landon Posted October 29, 2021 Posted October 29, 2021 when using the QOS feature my ping underload score is a D every time I have used the automatic setup and did it manually starting with 90% on both download &upload decreasing it by 10% nothing changes much my download ping is around 100 and upload is 500+ every test I do any suggestions? My pc is hardwired from the R2 using cat5e ive also done the same thing on a deferent pc also connected on the r2 and same results but not I'm also failing the ping test and have packet loss on that setup. https://gyazo.com/02b0cb1efbc56e30ade4671985c62a70
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 30, 2021 Administrators Posted October 30, 2021 What firmware version are you on and what speeds do you pay for/expect? Doesn't seem to be showing the upload speed there which is probably why the test is higher than expected.

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 30, 2021 Administrators Posted October 30, 2021 Don't worry about the test, due to your speeds it's very easy for you to saturate the connection and for bufferbloat to happen, you're unlikely to get a great result there. What is the connection like for gaming?
Landon Posted October 30, 2021 Author Posted October 30, 2021 non peak usage hours fine no problems but if anyone gets on the connection even just web surfing it lag spikes and packet loss are heavy
