So you've got both sliders set to 70% and Congestion Control set to 'Always', right? What are your current bandwidth speeds? Apologies if you've mentioned this already. Yes those settings are enabled but the speed test of Netduma also doesnt give 70% of my maximum downloadspeed (75 mbit) and maximum uploadspeed (20mbit). Then there should be 53 mbit download right? Or is this connection benchmark test so smart that if you do the complete test they first disable QOS for the maximum speed and then with ping test under load they enabled it? For me it looks like for this test they disable it or otherwise there is something wrong. Like I said if I test no dsl reports the speeds are max 70% so it is enabled. But if it works? But another question If I play a game and I pay on a dedicated server. Often I see that the tick rate of the host is 2 times higher than the tick rate of the client. Am I the client or is that my opponent?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 4, 2021 Administrators Share Posted November 4, 2021 For Benchmark the speed part does not ignores your QoS settings and the rest uses your QoS settings - the results on the XR range is still being improved so you can take it with a pinch of salt. You're the client and what you're pinging is the host, when doing P2P though you're both really the hosts of the game. You can't impact the rates at all.
