dualshocked
Hello, I'm currently having an issue where my router is not connecting to the internet on 2 ports. I haven't tried any troubleshooting other than restarting the router. I have tried 2 different devices in the ports and they both have issues. One my Xbox is says a teredo issue. On my laptop it says no internet.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 7, 2021 Administrators Share Posted September 7, 2021 I'd suggest first of all trying the ethernet cables you know work from port 1 & 3 and see if they give internet to devices when used in port 2 and 4, if so then you'll just need some new cables
dualshocked
I did try that. 2 different ethernet cables (1 on my laptop and both on my xbox). Both worked on port 3.
dualshocked
I was counting the ports in the wrong direction. It is actually Port 1 and Port 3 that are not working. Port 2 and 4 work just fine.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 7, 2021 Administrators Share Posted September 7, 2021 When devices are plugged into those ports look at the Table View on the Device Manager, do they show as being connected? Can you access the interface using the PC in one of these ports?
dualshocked
Hey, after swapping ethernets around so many times and several restarts. the issue seems to have gone away. I have no idea how cause I've had the issue since Friday. I will reply if it comes back but I think somehow it is working *fingers crossed*
