Irving Rodriguez Posted April 23, 2021 Share Posted April 23, 2021 Hi guys I`ve been having an issue and I dont know how to fix it, I have my computer connected by ethernet and every time i start downloading something the others devices with Wifi get not internet at all, and even the download speed in the computer is not that fast, is around 4mb/s which is to low my internet speed is about 40/50mb/s. I have set up the congestion control as forum said 70% and the download speed in the computer drops to 3mb, if I set upo at 100% give my 4mb/s, someone has have the same issue? and even the Qos app does not open( yes I have try on incognito mode) so is not much I can do. my issue come that I can not do anything with my wifi devices if I am downloading something in the computer. thanks. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 24, 2021 Administrators Share Posted April 24, 2021 So internet speeds are given to us as MegaBits so you have 40/50 Mbits speeds which translates to a download rate of 4-6 MegaBytes so the download speeds you are getting is about correct. As you're using basically all of the available bandwidth to download it makes sense other devices might be struggling. What is the model of the modem/router the R2 is connected to?
