Geo Filter seemingly endless issues

I really don't want to be here on the forums troubleshooting your software, taking screenshots, posting logs, etc. I want what I paid for to work, the advertised features to actually work. I have tried everything I have seen you all post about how to deal with this issue and nothing consistently works. It does not seem to be an isolated issue and it would be nice if you could figure out an actual software fix that does not require owners of an r2 to constantly jump through hoops to try to address it.

r2
firmware R2 3.0.205

modem plugged directly into the wall, nothing else on that outlet

modem motorola MB8600

wired connection from the pc i game on

I will begin adding screenshots as they come up

can't even load the geo filter page

I will provide the log files if you want them

Uncaught Type Error.png

page spins endlessly so i refresh the page and then get

this rapp is not yet loaded.png

hard restart, now it loads. Who wants to have to unplug the modem and replug it in to get advertised gaming functionality to work? If this was isolated every few months whatever, this is not isolated. this is daily to maybe every few days, I have not tracked the exact frequency.

also noticed that geofilter interferes with discord voicechat. Why?

i noticed just now it says resync cloud, what is that about?

and here we go again. throwing errors

the operation is taking longer than expected.png

it's now working but still says it needs to resync cloud

Resync cloud message - refresh the page and it will have applied, that is normal for the moment but won't be causing an issue.

When you see the split message, is it upon loading the page instantly or after changing a setting?

I'd recommend you do a factory reset to start with just to remove old low level code from the version it was on prior to this and see whether this improves the performance.

I have done a factory reset before already and it does not resolve the issues.

the split message is just attempting to load the page for the first time I tried to use the geo filter today

I posted in another thread that it does not matter what device i use. I use chrome, however I had this problem on an old pc and now on a brand new one. I have tried apple devices. it doesn't matter. the device to access the interface does not appear to matter.

Why should I have to disable IPv6 for your interface to work?

We're troubleshooting, if it works with it disabled then we've narrowed down where the issue could be so we can fix it. It may not make a difference, in which case you can re-enable it and we can try something else.

Yeah I get that and on one hand I appreciate that you guys are here to troubleshoot\, but on the other this feels like beta software in some ways which is frustrating. Still having issues that are only resolved by unplugging the power on the router. Most of the time that works for at least a day, sometimes more but also sometimes it won't work or will only stick for hours. I have not had a chance to do the ipv6 thing as I haven't felting like being qc lately. will report my results when I do but it really shouldn't take going thru all this to have a functional product.

I appreciate your frustration, all products have their own issues and some products you don't have issues with are likely because they've been fixed with the help of people like yourself. Let us know how you get on and we can try to get it resolved ASAP. I've actually made a request to have it show that it has been synced successfully but it always does sync when clicked
