so ive seen so many posts over a year ago reg PC geo filtering and nothing has been done?

all i see is people sayin we will chase.

 

has there been any updates before i purchase this router?

 

if it cant be done i think admins should let everyone know instead of passing the blame.

Hey, welcome to the forum!

If your purpose is to go into tower/strikes solo or block other players then I would suggest not purchasing currently until we figure out whether that is possible. I suspect it's all server based and so is like most other games and how they work with the Geo-Filter that you can force the closest servers which will still give you a ping advantage.

Hopefully we'll be able to push out a cloud next week so servers can be filtered again but we're still testing

If you want to share  I don't mind testing. The thing is, it seems to work as a mixed mode. Players on my region use their socks proxy, players outside region still connect as P2P and they do show on Geo filtering. This to say, either they haven't implemented it full, or there might be a vector we can exploit there. Push the update or if it's possible share so we can do some testing.

Thanks for the info! There is nothing we can share currently and we can't apply test clouds to individual users currently
