MisterTj Posted March 25, 2021 Posted March 25, 2021 Hello, my name is tj. I got my net Duma r2 yesterday. I tried setting up but it wont connect to the internet. Everything is connected properly. Netdumar2 wifi shows on my laptop, I connected through wired and it shows as well but not connection at all. My gaming set up is in the basement and my xfi cable modem is upstairs, so I have 50 ft ethernet cable in my gaming room. What seems to be the problem? Should I contact Xfinity about this? Should bring my router close to the modem and use the provided ethernet cable from netduma? Please help, I was excited about the router yesterday but I wont be able to use it. Thanks
Netduma Liam Posted March 25, 2021 Posted March 25, 2021 Welcome to the forum! So after you've successfully connected to the R2 over wired or wireless, go to your web browser and go to 192.168.77.1 to complete the initial setup. You won't have an internet connection until you've done this.
