Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 21, 2021 Administrators Posted March 21, 2021 Hey, welcome to the forum! Sorry to hear you're having this issue. Could you clarify whether you have gone through the setup wizard within the last 4 days to get it setup or did you have it setup and then now it just won't connect to the interface/internet?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 21, 2021 Administrators Posted March 21, 2021 Well done! Okay so you're on the setup wizard, choose to set it up manually, then skip it and get through the rest of the wizard until you are on the interface. Do you know if talk talk requires PPPoE, VLAN or anything like that for a connection?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 21, 2021 Administrators Posted March 21, 2021 So you're connected to the internet now? If so you can't access the setup wizard until you do a factory reset but if you have access to the main interface that is all working
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 21, 2021 Administrators Posted March 21, 2021 What happens when you go to http://192.168.77.1 or http://dumaos in the web browser, can you provide a screenshot please?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 21, 2021 Administrators Posted March 21, 2021 Open command prompt on your PC please and type ipconfig then press enter and post a screenshot of what it shows
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 21, 2021 Administrators Posted March 21, 2021 That's a local IP so you can attach it here. It looks like the R2 is acting like a switch, can you unplug the cable connecting it to your modem and do ipconfig again please?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 24, 2021 Administrators Posted March 24, 2021 That's odd, what happens when you try to access 192.168.1.1 in your web browser while the internet is still disconnected?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 24, 2021 Administrators Posted March 24, 2021 Okay great if you got access on another PC go on that, do you have a WAN IP on the System Information page? Go to Settings > WAN and apply DHCP then see if internet connects
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 24, 2021 Administrators Posted March 24, 2021 As the TP link is connected to the TalkTalk router the R2 and PC/console can't see each other. If you connected the TP to the R2 then that would achieve what you want.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 24, 2021 Administrators Posted March 24, 2021 Did you change any settings at all prior to not being able to access it?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 24, 2021 Administrators Posted March 24, 2021 Okay unplug the router from power for 10 minutes that will let any residual power drain and hopefully any weird issues, then plug it in and wait 2 minutes before accessing. See if it is more stable after that.
