Need help!!!!!
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 9, 2021 Administrators Posted March 9, 2021 Hey, welcome to the forum! Sorry to hear you're having this issue. It sounds like ethernet cables, could you provide a screenshot of the table view of the Device Manager please and post it here?
DocDillinger Posted March 11, 2021 Author Posted March 11, 2021 when i had the g1100 my speeds where fine
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 11, 2021 Administrators Posted March 11, 2021 Thanks for that, in the top left of the Device Manager click the 3 line option menu and select table view and then provide a screenshot of the top part of that page please
DocDillinger Posted March 14, 2021 Author Posted March 14, 2021 okay replaced the main line to a cat6 and speeds for the router went up. But now 2 ports that have cat6 lines cap out 100. I notice my consoles have great download but upload is still low . Like it will 800dwn and 97up im not sure why its doing that.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 14, 2021 Administrators Posted March 14, 2021 Yeah you have 3 ethernet cables which are capped at 100Mbps so you will need to replace them also to see your proper speeds. Console speed tests aren't hugely accurate, what do you get on a wired PC?
DocDillinger Posted March 14, 2021 Author Posted March 14, 2021 this is the pc test its weird because my pc is port 1 and it says its capped at 100
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 14, 2021 Administrators Posted March 14, 2021 There is an aesthetic issue where the ports appear reversed so it will actually be port 4 technically that DumaOS sees as your PC being connected to and vice versa
