Connecting to servers outside filter - Eero?

Hi There,

I have my NetDumaR1 setup with my cox modem bridged and my Eero main + 2 hubs, and the geofilter DEFINITELY works because the west coast servers were blocked but I believe I was connecting to the east coast servers outside of my polygon filter.

My setup: Cox ISP modem bridged —> NetDumaR1 with OS3 beta —> Eero main —> Eero Hub hardwired to my PC.

In DumaOS I added device “eero” as it’s the only device discoverable and turned on geofiltering before launching the game. Eero is set to PlayStation as device type. Set geofilter so I would only get seattle or Midwest Warzone servers per the ping heat map.

Filtering on. Strict mode on. Ping assist 0. The servers all show up, everything outside my geofilter is blocked except it pings a server in the Carolinas that shows at allowed (outside the gro filter). Also two player icons show up in the Midwest and seattle INSIDE the geofilter.

Ping is solid, games connect fairly fast, but I’m not positive I’m getting the server I want. Help?

Thanks for posting!

Are you not able to see your PC in device manager then? I would advise changing your PC's device type to Playstation, not the Eero.

Have you tried manually denying the server in the Carolinas? It may just be that it's an authentication server, in which case it won't affect your in-game experience at all! That being said, I'm not aware of there being an authentication server there...

If you click the server you appear to be connecting to when in-game, what ping does it say it's giving you? Bare in mind one of the peers could be miscategorised, so it could be that it's actually a server.

Hi Liam,

thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I am only able to see the Eero in the device manager because all of my devices are plugged into or connected to the Eero via WiFi.

To manually deny the server, you click it on the geofilter page then click deny correct? I have tried this but only the “allow” button is functioning.

My ping has been fine, less than 50 every game and usually around 25.
