DamionA
I have an XR1000 running on the latest 1.0.0.52_1.0.38 firmware. There are a couple things with this one. To start, the "Auto Update" is not working with tis firmware for whatever reason. I manually updated and have been stable for some time without issue. I tried to wirelessly log into the router (192.168.1.1) and entered the password incorrect 3 times and got a reset password page. I ignored it, closed and reopened the page and attempted to log in again. After a few more failed login's I started getting Failed to readline from 'config get DumaOS_Theme_Version At that point I rebooted the router from the Power button and upon starting back up, the router was wiped of all custom configuration including my own credentials. I was able to log into the system with the default admin/password credentials. All of my wireless settings were wiped and set back to defaults etc. The firmware version was still running the latest firmware so it seems to have only affected my updates. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 7, 2021 Administrators Share Posted February 7, 2021 Hey, welcome to the forum! Sorry to hear you're having some issues. How did you reboot the router exactly - did you use the button or did you unplug the power?
DamionA
I used the button, once off, i unplugged for 10 seconds and plugged back in and turned power back on
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 7, 2021 Administrators Share Posted February 7, 2021 Okay it's probably because you unplugged it. Setup your settings then reboot via the interface or the button and then it should save so if you unplug it again they should still be there afterwards.
