NuclearSteveO Posted February 7, 2021 Posted February 7, 2021 I know this has been posted several times, but I'm having disconnect issues as well. I was just resetting the router but now I found that I can go to monitoring and renew lease and that fixes it for a short amount of time. Not everything will drop out (applications). I can lose connection to warzone but discord stays connected, or I can stay connected to warzone and try to open a website and it won't. This happens both wireless and wired connections. It started with my XR450 and I thought it was just getting old so I bought a XR500 and the same. I've upgraded the firmware from .66 to.114 and just upgraded to Duma 3.0 on this router yesterday. Seems like it's worse now. This is what I'm currently running. My modem is an Arris SB8200. XR500 V2.3.2.114-DumaOS3.0.203
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 7, 2021 Administrators Posted February 7, 2021 If you haven't already please do a factory reset once upgraded as that will prevent any issues carrying over from the previous version and should resolve it.
NuclearSteveO Posted February 7, 2021 Author Posted February 7, 2021 I done a factory reset after I installed Duma 3.0 and set everything back up again.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 7, 2021 Administrators Posted February 7, 2021 Okay please follow these instructions and then send Tim the relevant information in a PM on the Netgear community so he can take a look: https://community.netgear.com/t5/Nighthawk-Pro-Gaming-DumaOS-3-0/New-Firmware-v2-3-2-108-XR500/m-p/2047265/highlight/true#M3520

NuclearSteveO Posted February 10, 2021 Author Posted February 10, 2021 Update - the ISP updated my IP address and no issues after that. It's all working well so far.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 10, 2021 Administrators Posted February 10, 2021 Great to hear that, thanks for the update!
