Osvaldo Sousa Posted February 5, 2021 Posted February 5, 2021 Hello i curently have a 1000/100 isp plan and want to buy a new router but i am a litle bit indecesive between xr1000 and asus gt 5300 / ax 1000, isp router is pure garbage , cant configure nothing and its buggy , keeps reseting settings, i want more control over my network, bufferbloat on dsl reports gives me a score of D , ping spikes to 1000 / 1500.

Having DumaOS with the Geo-Filter (no other router has it) and QoS to ensure you have the most optimum connection possible with its own built in Bufferbloat test as well.
Osvaldo Sousa Posted February 5, 2021 Author Posted February 5, 2021 Thanks for your support, i play pc games only, so in my pov i wont be using geo filter, and the xr 1000 has a triple core 1.5 while the asus has quad core 1.8

Cores are great but unless you're really hammering the network constantly or have tons of devices added the difference is negligible.
