connecting to the netduma internet and what other routers i need to use to connect the Netduma R2 to it

i got my netduma today and i tried to put it into my wifi box but i've been searching it up how to set it up and whatever but people aren't putting eithernet cable from the r2 into there wifi box they're putting it into a router or something else could anyone tell me what i need to buy to set the internet up properly ? (uk)

We're based in the UK, what do you mean the WiFi box exactly? Does the WiFi box have a model name/number on it? - If so what is that and I can best advise. Who is your Internet Service Provider?

my internet service provider is sky

Okay so I assume you have the Sky hub, have a look at the manual from the R2 and connect it to the Sky hub so R2 internet port to Sky hub LAN port with the ethernet cable provided with the R2. Then connect a PC to the R2 and access the interface in your web browser and complete the setup wizard.

Sorry for this it may sound stupid but where is the LAN port on the wifi box , thankyou for trying to help also

There should be at least 4 ports on the back where an ethernet cable would fit, they may be yellow. Hard to say exactly without knowing the model. Never a stupid question, you're very welcome!

it keeps saying incorrect when the wifi comes up and i try put the password in

Connect a wired PC to the R2 now and then access the interface, from there you'll go through the setup wizard and can change the WiFi password there. Then you can connect all your devices.

how do i get my laptop connected to the R2 ?

when i type 192.168.77.1 it doesn't load aswell

How did you connect it to the router? Did you use an ethernet cable to connect them together?

yes but when i put the wifi password in it just says bad password and i can't get on dumaos/ or the other one

Are you able to connect using a wired device to see if you can gain access?
