belphil
I've been getting this error on my Netduma R2 under the Geo-Filter Tab. Anyone know what to do or how to fix it? Thanks RPC error 'ERROR_UNKNOWN': Unterminated JSON encoded object found at position in [] -> stack traceback: ?: in function <?:73> [C]: in function 'assert' ?: in function 'decode' ?: in function <?:117> ?: in function <?:382> [C]: in function 'xpcall' ?: in function 'try' ?: in function <?:348> [C]: in function 'run' ?: in function <?:404> [C]: in function 'xpcall' ?: in function 'try' ?: in function <?:263> (tail call): ? ?: in function <?:30> [C]: in function 'xpcall' ?: in main chunk [C]: ? Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted December 19, 2020 Administrators Share Posted December 19, 2020 When do you get the error, just by loading the page or after selecting a particular setting? What firmware version are you on? What web browser/device are you accessing the router on?

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted December 25, 2020 Administrators Share Posted December 25, 2020 Did you do a factory reset after you upgraded to .179? If not I would recommend doing that as its recommended to prevent legacy issues carrying over from previous firmware versions. Happy Holidays! Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted December 27, 2020 Administrators Share Posted December 27, 2020 Was this on the Geo-Filter page again? What settings have you changed/applied on the Geo-Filter specifically during the time it was working?
belphil
Yes it was under the Geo Filter Tab again and wasn't doing anything just looking at the screen.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted December 27, 2020 Administrators Share Posted December 27, 2020 I mean previously, what did you change specifically? Just trying to ascertain what could of caused it so we know where to look.
belphil
i'm sure that i was looking on my allow list under the geo filter tab and i had filtering mode on. and even though a friend of mine is on the allowed list it is showing as a blocked player
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted December 28, 2020 Administrators Share Posted December 28, 2020 Okay thanks for the information, regarding your friend their IP may have changed so you may need to add them to the allow list again. It doesn't sound like anything you have would have caused the issue. Do you leave the interface open on the Geo-Filter for extended periods of time? Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 8, 2021 Administrators Share Posted January 8, 2021 Okay don't leave it on all the time, only when you're actually using it and see if it doesn't appear as much.
