Alias 1aB Posted November 12, 2020 Share Posted November 12, 2020 After the last firmware update and factory reset, everything with the R2 works fine. Wi-fi at the 5 Ghz has improved the throughput and range. Ping heatmap starting working again. Even been getting lower ping times in games. But the one issue that keeps popping up is it keeps losing the connection to the internet probably once every 5-7 days. Of course this happens always when I am work and my wife calls me to tell the internet went down again as our boys think its the end of the world because their Ipads wont work online. Simply unplugging the router and plugging it back in resolves this matter. It did not happen before with the original firmware it came with. Its not the cable modem dropping connection because the one time it happened while i was at home, i called the ISP to see if it was the modem dropping the connection and they said it was still online. But the question is why does this keep happening. If anyone has any solutions, I am all ears. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
