TIMCSS
Hi all, The 5ghz channel keeps dropping out on my router and this time i dont seem to be able to get it back on. Any help out there? Thank you
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 11, 2020 Administrators Share Posted November 11, 2020 I'm assuming you have disabled Mirror mode is that right so you can connect to 5GHz manually? If you reboot the router does it come back? We do have an open ticket for 5GHz not broadcasting so we're looking into it.

Hi, I connected everything and all my devices were using the 5ghz range, the light went off on the router and now all my devices are using the 2.4 range instead. I have reset the router a number of times and cannot get it to come back on. please see the attached images. Thank you.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 13, 2020 Administrators Share Posted November 13, 2020 You have mirror mode enabled so there is only one WiFi network to connect to. Devices will then switch between 2.4/5GHz based on their need.
TIMCSS
Hi Fraser. Oh thank you. Should I turn this off? Also is there a guide for setting up the router up for gaming and pings etc?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 13, 2020 Administrators Share Posted November 13, 2020 You can keep that enabled if you're not having any issues with it. We haven't updated our guides yet but in general, use the Geo-Filter to force the closest/lowest ping servers - use Ping Heatmap to help with this. Adjust your Congestion Control sliders (using Always) to find what lowers the Ping Under Load test as close to the Ping Test as possible on Connection Benchmark.
