XR 500 unable to access routerlogin.net

Recommended Posts

hi, I'm unable to access my router either by typing routerlogin.net or the IP. i have tried everything. clear my browser, resetting router to factory settings...etc, nothing working apart from when i disconnect cable from my router/modem ( vodafone) then i can access routerlogin.net but when i connect the cable back in, I'm losing that page again.

vodafone IP address is 192.168.1.1 , XR500 has changed it self to 10.0.0.1

unfortunately vodafone router doesnt have modem option so im using DNZ for option for my XR500.

also when i type 192.168.1.1 in browser it sending me to vodafone router instead to xr500.

i really dont know what to do.

Just to clarify, your setup is Vodafone modem/router > XR500 is that right? Are you trying to access the XR500 interface when you're directly connected to the Vodafone hub? If so that won't work, you need to be directly connected to the XR in order to access it. If you want to access it from the Vodafone hub then on the XR500 go to Settings > Advanced Settings and enable remote management, you will then be able to access it using the address that it gives you.

yes that right. well i had this router for like 1,5 years and its been worked fine that way only stopped working like 2 months ago. i can still access xr500 interface using my phone but this isn't mobile compatible and i only can see menu really. if i cannot access XR500 interface that way, so how i am supposed to check my geo map to so who can i block ?

If it worked when you were directly connected to the hub instead of the XR then I don't know how that was possible without connecting to the remote management address. If you use DumaOS 3.0 beta on the XR then you can use the mobile app. As I said, either connect directly to the XR or enable remote management and connect using the address it gives you on that page from any devices connected to the hub.

Are you referring to the DumaOS mobile app? How are you trying to access it remotely, connected from the router above the XR or when you're out of your home?

Just use one of the files, copy the contents into the Advanced part of VPN Setup and enter your username/password.
