L880NN
Hi everyone, recently installed modern warfare on my pc. Everything is working amazing until I play gamebattles lobby, i just get disconnected from servers, internet is on and working fine. I have uPnp enabled. I think I need to disable and add in the port forwarding rules. can someone explain how I can add a TCP / UDP port?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 8, 2020 Administrators Share Posted November 8, 2020 It sounds like you're using the Geo-Filter to play the game normally but then when you're playing pre-determined players the Geo-Filter is blocking the connection. Disable the Geo-Filter and see if that works.
L880NN
Thanks for the swift reply Fraser (as usual). Is that a case of just putting it in Spectator mode for the PC (new device)?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 8, 2020 Administrators Share Posted November 8, 2020 You're welcome! Yes that's right, just switch the Geo-Filter to Spectating Mode when ever you're doing Gamebattles and you shouldn't have any connection problems to the other players while still being able to tell the quality of the connection. L880NN
Will do. My only concern it did drop again last night. Just a disconnect from gamebattles lobby. It always says I've disconnected from call of duty servers. Any ideas what else I could try? It's literally just game battles. I am hoping it won't happen with the new cod? But want to be sure I have all the correct settings moving into it? Thanks again mate
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 10, 2020 Administrators Share Posted November 10, 2020 Have you disabled the Geo-Filter prior to booting up the console/game? Next time remove the device from the Geo-Filter completely and see if that helps. Do you have an Open NAT?
