anthonypeluso0307
Hello I ordered my netdumar2 [Order #28290] and it arrived on October 19, but unfortunately it seems I got a faulty unit. So what’s happening is for some reason my internet runs just fine and then out of nowhere, it cuts off everything WiFi and anything plugged into the Ethernet ports. At first I thought it was my internet provider. Through my testing my modem is not the problem. I had just bought it brand new and every time my internet cuts out all I have to do is reboot just the netdumar2 router and then everything is back up until it cuts out again. The thing is that this internet cutting out happens 4 to 7 times each day. So after all this I decided to hook up my old Netgear router and everything is working fine no cut outs. I would be happy to answer any questions. But what I would like is just to return the netdumar2 and get a refund. And I will just use my old router for now. I emailed multiple times but no response for days. I would appreciate the help. Thanks. -Anthony Peluso
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 8, 2020 Administrators Share Posted November 8, 2020 Hey, welcome to the forum! Sorry to hear you're having this issue. Please upgrade to this firmware and do a factory reset, it should be a lot more stable for you: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/33236-announcement-new-r2-firmware-30179/

anthonypeluso0307
Hello, earlier I sent an email to [email protected] about a refund. I was suspicious of this US address and if it is the correct one or a scam. I looked up the address and people were saying its a scam. I have read the return policy on the netduma website "direct customers to our customer service department at [email protected] where you will get a return merchandise authorisation (RMA) code for a refund" But I did not get a (RMA) code. I have sent a photo of the email. Would you be able to tell me if it is safe to send it back to this address. Thanks.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 11, 2020 Administrators Share Posted November 11, 2020 I can confirm that is the official email response from ourselves. Did you still experience the issue on the new firmware after a reset?
