Deprave Posted November 4, 2020 Posted November 4, 2020 Hey guys so as y’all know we have been having some Wi-Fi issues with the R2. I use about 10+ devices in my house at any given time. I also have a XR700 and I was wondering if I could just use the R2 for hardwired devices and use my XR700 for Wi-Fi? Is this possible to have both running at the same time? If this works then my Wi-Fi issues will be gone. Is there any downsides to this? Thanks again!
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 5, 2020 Administrators Posted November 5, 2020 Yes absolutely you can do this, there wouldn't be any downsides. Put the XR700 in AP mode, that way any devices connected to it will appear as though they are connected to the R2 and show on the Device Manager so you can control them with Geo, QoS etc.
