Dxta
Is it possible to use the Netduma R2 like a kind of switch ? So that I connect the R2 to my Fritzbox via LAN and then to the R2 my PC and my consoles. I want to use only the geo-filter and the Fritzbox should continue to run without any restrictions
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 4, 2020 Administrators Share Posted October 4, 2020 Hey, welcome to the forum! Not like a switch no as it is a router and so gives IPs to devices. You can use it the way you want though. It would be better if you connected all devices to the R2 to allow QoS to be effective.
Dxta
Because with my router I can't enable bridge mode or DMZ. So I want to use the R2 only for my 2-3 devices and everything else should continue to run through the Fritzbox
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 4, 2020 Administrators Share Posted October 4, 2020 What is the fritz model? It should have at least a DMZ function. You can do it the way you wanted but without the switch element.
