Jacques
Hi! I was thinking... I wanna build an OneMesh (TP-Link) network at home for my entire house. Its for the wireless devices reach the internet everywhere, anytime. But I also wanna use my Netduma router's Geo Filter option on my consoles. Can I do that somehow? I dont need the QoS or other Netduma functions, only Geo Filter. Xbox or PS4 -> Netduma R1 -> OneMesh TP-Link router -> Internet... its all wired. Wifi devices -> range extender -> OneMesh TP-Link router -> Internet... its all wireless in the whole house. can I do that? EDIT: OK, I found a solution... I have to buy an OneMesh router with Access Point function.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 21, 2020 Administrators Share Posted August 21, 2020 As long as you have the console directly connected or behind an AP/switch/extender that is connected to the R1 then you can use the Geo-Filter for it. Glad you found a solution!
Jacques
Hi again! Can I use R1 behind an other router and use the Geo Filter? Like this: Modem -> TP-Link Archer AX73 -> NetDuma R1 -> Xbox console? of course its all wired.

Make sure to put the R1 WAN IP in the TP DMZ so you can get an open NAT on the console.
